About Us

At Craftea Nutty, we're all about sharing our love for tea and living a healthy lifestyle. Our story began with our founder, Michelle, whose curiosity and passion for teas drove her to scour grocery aisles for the perfect tea blend that could alleviate her minor aches, pains and anxiety. Despite amassing a collection of traditional paper and pyramid tea bags, she felt there was something better out there.

A transformative trip to China introduced Michelle to whole and loose leaf teas, a revelation that traditional tea bags filled with fannings or tea dust couldn’t compete with. Returning home, she faced the challenge of sourcing these teas locally without breaking the bank. After a brief detour into coffee, which didn’t sit well with her tummy, Michelle rekindled her love affair with tea in 2019.

Blending whole chamomile flowers with dried ginger to soothe her acid reflux and mixing Assam black tea with cinnamon and cardamom as a coffee substitute, Michelle crafted unique blends that not only tasted great but also brought a sense of wellness. Sharing these blends with family and friends proved their benefits, and thus, Craftea Nutty was born in October 2019, just in time for the holidays.
